The htp needs to be turned on by ir. The driver DOES NOT work for power on commands.. this is NOT new I brought this up months ago and was told to investigate it myself.

Thanks @fattykid. I thought there was something about the HTP-1 that required IR. It has been a while since I tried setting this up and have forgotten some details.
The Monoprice HTP-1 is a pre/pro and Allonis does have a driver for it so you guys have looked into it at some point. It was one of the drivers I updated yesterday. Driver date 2025-07-20. I don't know much about this stuff but the entire UI was re-written by a user so it is probably one of the more flexible devices of it's type. That UI was then adopted by Monoprice.
I have no idea what the network issue is. Everything else is pretty snappy. Even using the SR to browse through the Shield. I can try restarting it later when people aren't using it for work.
Myserver doesn't have wifi, right?

The myServer controller does have Wifi (that by default is disabled) but I hope that wouldn't fix anything because a ethernet cable should always be better than a WiFi signal (assuming it's a decent network).
If you wanted to enable Wifi, here is info on how:
allonis.com/support/documentation?view=category&id=412
See the "Tidbits" section at the bottom.
We will log into your system later today to see if something looks apparent of why the lag.

My network is an eero pro 6. This year I bought new switches for the wired devices. I can't remember what they are but they are modern.
Thanks for looking into it.

Yes, Allonis can confirm that Monoprice did not enable Power on via Ethernet on the HTP-1

You would have to put a IP2IR GlobalCache to control the HTP-1 via Infrared as the Monoprice engineering team did not enable power on via ethernet. Allonis can reverse engineer this if someone finds it worth the development time and expense (like a few hours worth). We did enough reverse engineering today on your system to confirm that this is doable.
