The reason I went down the heat rabbit hole was because when my server would cross 50 Degrees it would shut down. It did this on two different PI4 boards and with an Argon One case and the Deskpi Pro case. I put the board into one of my 3D printed cases (big fan), ran myServer off a USB drive...it didn't shutdown. If I slow down the fan on my Deskpi pro, I can repeatably get the server to drop. Maybe this is totally unrelated, but it is reproducible.
What I would really like is a supported Linux image (docker, or native install) so I could ditch the PI HW. I have a few NUCs around and a QNAP NAS with a tons of computing power (it running my Home Assistant image, media servers, etc and is not breaking a sweat).

Yeah, a supported virtual server option would be great. But it's understandable that Allonis don't want to support that as there would be an infinite number of variables as to why things don't work. If they specify the hardware as well as software at least it's a consistent platform.
I'm using the official Raspberry Pi 4 power supply that claims to offer 5A at 5.1V so it should be up to the task.
I bought a UPS months ago but haven't connected it up yet. I think that's next, then a fresh image on a USB connected SSD drive rather than a flash drive. Then we'll see what we see.

I'm running MyServer on a QNAP TS-664, using virtualization station.
Yes, it is not supported by Allonis. But it wasn't too hard to set up, once I taught myself enough Linux to understand what was going on.
If you already have the hardware, it's worth the time to experiment.

Are you running an arm64 VM and using the official RPi image? Or just using the plain Linux server software?I'm running MyServer on a QNAP TS-664, using virtualization station.

Ubuntu Server for ARM. There are a few additional packages you need to install and setup. Using the linux-x64 zip of MyServer.

I've just found your post from April about how you did it: allonis.com/forum/mydesigner-6/177-mydes...-issues?start=6#2414
