Rackmount myServer - whole server unresponsive

Our smartremote was unresponsive again today but this time it turned out that myServer itself had died. It wouldn't respond to the web dashboard, ssh or ping. I yanked the power cord (I must get an HDMI cable, mouse and kb plugged in as a last check) and everything came up again.

This actually happened last Friday too - I was going to start a thread but then the remote went wonky on its own so I tried to pursue that one first.

I've attached today's log in the next message (stupid forum software). It looks like myServer spontaneously restarted at 07:07:59 today (6th December) but didn't quite fully start up. It says it finished initializing but the normal chatter isn't logged (in fact nothing is logged) until my unceremonious restart at 14:32 ish. Unfortunately there's no "I crashed because this happened" entry.

I'm thinking about scheduling a nightly reboot of the whole server in case it's a memory leak kind of thing but that would be a bit rubbish. I'd rather have a proper solution.

By the way I was trying to get an rtsp camera working so I was running mediamtx on the server. I've disabled that now. I've also got NodeRed installed and running, and zigbee2mqtt.

And because I don't do things by halves I've now created a check_mk monitoring host and put the agent on the myServer Pi. Let's see if that shows anything interesting or useful.

That's a new one, I've never had mine go unresponsive like that.
