You might consider a strategy to use native myServer drivers for all devices that myServer currently supports re: Denon.  And use Harmony Hub for any devices that myServer (today) doesn't support.

What we are finding from some testing, is that responsiveness, reliability has been much better with native drivers than the Harmony Hub provides.
You also have less to migrate later if Logitech cuts the cord on Harmony support.

Now that the Harmony Hub Driver supports native commands and you can migrate over to customizable myDesigner developed webpages, this is much easier to blend now.

Totally agree, and I am aiming for exactly this.  I have also managed to get hold of an iCache ITach IP2IR.  Current approach is to use server IP drivers where available and then a combination of Harmony of iCache.

I still have a Heos driver issue, but will post that in the appropriate thread.

Thanks

Anything IR can be supported via the IP2IR natively within myServer. No need for Harmony Hub. I assume you know that but wanted to be sure.

Yes, understood.  The main reason (now) I am sticking with Harmony is that the 'activities' do a perfect job of turning everything on and setting all inputs correctly and it keeps track of everything powered on so that the 'power off' function works well.

I know I can do that with native IP2IR but the thought of creating macros to turn all of those devices and, change the inputs, whilst creating variables to keep track of what is on so that the power off function turns them all back off again... that's definitely a project for 'another day'...

Dave,
I have a question:
How do I ensure I’m using the latest and greatest smartremote template after I update from within MyDesigner?
Do I copy all the newly downloaded smart remote-sample files into the existing smartremote folder?
Could you provide step by step instructions?
Thanks.
