Some initial DRAFT documentation available to get myServer up and running on your network:
allonis.com/support/documentation?view=a...412:myserver-startup
There will very soon be much more documentation on myServer configuration. working on it!!

Hello,
I should be getting my remote and server usb stick today
After skipping thru the setup doc I had a few questions
Server USB stick can I image it to keep a backup and also move server to larger USB stick?
From Manual: Once the system is booted, from any Browser device (like a PC running Chrome), go to "http://mylastname/dashboard" Your last name the system was configured for is on the blue tape on the outside of the box.
Does this mean every myserver has been individualy configured? and can "http://mylastname/dashboard" be changed?
Is there two way communication between Home Assistant and MyServer IE can Can I create a automation on HA to interact with a device controlled by my server?
Or trigger a popup when a security event happens? from a Friget NVR
Could we create a page to be used on a android TV box and so could this be used as a OSD on a display device by not setting a background?
Right now I use gugutab / TvOverlay on shieldtv show volume changes from my Marantz
Thanks

All Raspberry OS / Linux systems:
You can change the computer name to whatever you want (keep it simple with no symbols) by clicking on the computer name field in Dashboard. Hit the "Play" button to the field left after you edit the command with your wanted name. System will reboot post updating. This myServer function also updates the TeamViewer alias to the same as Computer name which helps Allonis manage Remote Assistance. Changing the computer name via the Raspberry OS directly, doesn't update TeamViewer so use the SetHostName command in myServer instead.

Nice!!
After skipping thru the setup doc I had a few questions

yes, the Raspberry Desktop Menu has a feature to clone a USB stick.
Yes, that uses the computer name (see the doc on how to change that)
Is there two way communication between Home Assistant and MyServer IE can Can I create a automation on HA to interact with a device controlled by my server?
Today, myServer can send commands to HA. Depending on the HA device and how it was coded, you could update a Entity value and have myServer have a Automation Event looking for a change of state...and then myServer would run a Macro when it's state is what is defined. So yes.
Or trigger a popup when a security event happens? from a Friget NVR
Yes, we get all Device and Entity changes from HomeAssistant so this could be done today.
Could we create a page to be used on a android TV box and so could this be used as a OSD on a display device by not setting a background?
There already is a FireTV default setup...not sure if that meets the need but if it's technically possible on AndroidTV via ADB of what you are asking...then it's very likely possible.
Right now I use gugutab / TvOverlay on shieldtv show volume changes from my Marantz
I don't know what that is...but if we have a Marantz driver...then you can see / operate the volume level very likely without all the extra "stuff"

This is what it means. This was an issue for me last night because I have no blue sticker that I could find and it wasn't letting me bring up the dashboard. It took me a bit to figure out that they misspelled my last name during configuration. Once I realized they transposed 2 letters I was able to get right in and poke around the interface. From Manual: Once the system is booted, from any Browser device (like a PC running Chrome), go to "http://mylastname/dashboard" Your last name the system was configured for is on the blue tape on the outside of the box.

Hi, yes, you can also reach by http://ipaddress/dashboard.
Plus our "blue tape" handwriting is terrible
and I am sure that tape got lost on lots of packages enroute...the original plan was for that to print on the label, but the USPS website is buggier than all heck....
