The backup functions don't back up drivers or Apps. That's because you might be moving from 32 bit to 64 bit which need different drivers. dB and templates can be used on both.

Which instructions? I was following  allonis.com/support/documentation?view=category&id=416 and don't see that there - those instructions get you to create myServer.service and myInstaller.service by editing them.

Actually now I see you have at the end of your forum post "8.  Copy the myServer files and start the Services" but I don't see that in the 'official' instructions I was looking at.

That documentation didn't exist when I did this.  I was working from this documentation:

allonis.com/support/documentation?view=category&id=248
Aha. I never found that one. Thanks.

One final issue..... The AppleTV driver is giving me fits.  I installed pyatv in a virtual environment, but still getting errors with the driver.

From the log.
Error in MoveNext - Cannot assign requested address (localhost:41144)
-and-
30/01/2025 19:42:44.42 · ERROR · AppleTV.SendCommand - Error in SendCompanion - An error occurred trying to start process 'atvremote' with working directory '/home/allonis/applications/myServer'. No such file or directory

Any guidance in the proper way to install pyatv?

I found this when I was trying to install pyatv:

pyatv.dev/documentation/

This may be one of the drivers that requires Docker.  Since I don't have an AppleTV, I gave up trying to install it.  But now, it looks like I'll be getting one.  Please let me know if you get it working.

I also noticed that in myServer/data/python, there is an atvagent.py and pyatvagent.service.  Not sure if these are needed.  You could try putting the service with the other services and starting it.

Did anyone install Teamviewer?

Since the VM is unsupported, and Teamviewer is how Allonis provides support, I didn't bother.  But thinking about it, it might still be useful if I happen to install a new driver and need to help Allonis debug it.

I did install it, I downloaded the .deb file and did a local install. The install told me files were missing, so I did the apt-get --fix option (I forget the correct syntax). Once it was installed it ran OK. I then ran this script...(in the data/linux.x64 directory)

reset-teamviewer.sh

Once the script ran, Teamview had a number next to it (needed for support to connect).
