So, is the issue that the ATV driver doesn’t seem to work (or errors) under a VM environment? Well, that could be because of the shared NIC or probably the shared NIC’s mac address. I can replicate as I have a few ATV’s and certainly have several PROXMOX installations here.

Not sure that I would run TeamViewer in the myServer VM. Keep things clean and separate - well in my opinion.

If you are installing to a second hardware, you need to purchase a second license. And then send in an Activation for the new license on the new hardware.
I might be giving this a try soon.  Can I install it on second hardware and transfer the license?  I only need one myServer instance.

FYI - Big shoutout for Proxmox...  I redid my Media Servers and was shocked how easy it was to get them back up and running.  Running the community helper scripts for the LXC installs were super easy.  Previously I had them installed individually on a Debian base, Now they are seperate containers and super easy to manage.

Backups, Snapshots, are simple.

I know it's not in the cards, but it would be soooooo great if there was a myServer installation script for Proxmox.

Not needed. It is easy enough to perform the installation now. But yes, virtualization requires a little bit of skill.  It would just be another thing that needs to be continuously engineered and tested, and would essentially take away time from us building new projects. You want new toys to play with, right?

It would be nice to have an "Official" image/script for the installation. I was super impressed how easy it was to spin up the LXCs and be off to the races in a short time. What would be super cool, would be a script to install the new server, then have a "Server" migration button that would find a valid server on your network and use it to populate the new server.

I respect Allonis's position on their product, overall it's been working great for me and I'm happy I made the switch when I did.
