Screen won't turn off (Both Remotes) was created by bitzerjd
I woke up this morning and both screens were on. Now they won't automatically turn off. Going into the screen to adjust the timeout works, but none of the buttons work (using the up or down to change the seconds, for example). I rebooted the server....rebooted the remotes, etc.
The only change recently was the Android TV update and the myServer update yesterday.

Not sure if it is related, but here are two errors that show up when the remote is rebooted.
29/08/2024 08:44:42.44 · ERROR · AndroidTV.SendCommand - Error in SendCommand - An error occurred while reading a response from ADB: closed
29/08/2024 08:44:42.44 · ERROR · AndroidTV.TX: - Cannot send dumpsys activity activities | grep "mResumedActivity" to SmartRemote as the device reports being online

Anyone? Any ideas. It is really weird that both remotes "broke" overnite. The client variables are set properly on the server.. Everything looks OK. Nothing changed other than the normal updates yesterday.
If I click on the box for "Backlight on motion" the Key changes as if pressed, but the check remains. Same for the "Backlight on Time" The number 15 seconds doesn't change with the up or down button.
Do the remotes do an Android auto update?

Is the AndroidTV driver connected to the SmartRemote?

Yes, both are connected. I tend to think it had to do with the latest Android TV update, this behavior hit both remotes at exactly the same time...after the driver update yesterday.
