Button backlight times out while still using the remote

Thanks. This last post set me straight. Pinging the remote using the clientname (i.e. "remote1") makes FindMyRemote work. It does not respond to my remotes unique name in myServer and that's what the FindMyRemote command uses in the dropdown in Command Builder.

Yes, just noticed the same thing - for me it tries to suggest

FindMyRemote|SmartRemote

which obviously is incorrect (and doesn't work)

the name you assign to the SmartRemote in SR settings must match the clientname you assign the same device in the AndroidTV driver.

Does the clientname in the remote not matching the remotes friendly name affect any other capabilities in myServer beyond this?

my guess is yes. But haven't stopped to think too long about it. Just ensure they match and you won't have to worry.

Dave/David - Any thoughts on changing the behavior of the button lights so that the timer resets when buttons are pressed?  Just curious if it's on the todo list or not.  Thanks.
