Thanks DaveP. With the updates, its working much better.
I do get lots of key repeats and things like the FireTV (maybe more, I havent tested other devices) right button goes crazy to the right.
Still, a big step in the right direction.

Thanks Dave. I downloaded the new Harmony driver. Still no luck on discovery. Odd behaviour on discovery though - may be a coincidence, but thought this behaviour odd. My harmony is 192.168.68.50. Auto discovery starts at 192.168.68.1 as expected and now more slowly checks each ip (as expected given you increased the delay). However as soon as it hits …50 (ie the harmony) it rushes thru 50 to 54 extremely quickly then carries on going again. This behaviour repeats each time. So no hub detected, but odd behaviour from auto discovery when it reaches the correct ip address…

Sorry DaveP, I might have spoken too soon.
I did a myServer restart and tried to run an Activity again to test volume buttons.
SmartRemote screen went to "Watch Apple TV" but showed a blue screen and no activity on the Harmony (nothing turned on)
Here is a part of the debug log:

Thanks for the driver update. Seems to work.
The hard arrows keys are difficult to control. A single press moves it a couple of times. For example, on a smart tv, I am unable to make a selection. A single press moves it 2 or 3 selections,

Just a heads up you can disregard my request for assistance when you return from your trip. I appreciate the help you were providing but I decided that doing away with the Harmony integration entirely was just the path of least resistance. I wiped everything clean on the server and just started over with direct integration in myServer6. Things are much more stable now.See the post by DaveP today on fixing that issue. That's what I was going to do last night but then TeamViewer refused to allow my access.
I am traveling for the long weekend.
Thanks again!

It would be good to get this aspect of the Harmony driver sorted.

I've been doing some more googling on this Harmony repeated directional command problem and found another source that says you need to send a key release command after the key press command: groups.google.com/g/thehomeremote/c/Q3hALSG2aTg/m/GKS46xOPAAAJ
I'm still not on an 'official' setup so I'm always reluctant to weigh in on anything. But I started trying to debug this last night as I managed to get the Harmony driver working and displaying activities and devices in the smartremote template when accessed through the myDesigner simulated remote. When I press a directional arrow (in my case for our Sky+HD satellite box) the on-screen highlight skips along four items when it should move just one. It does this reliably and repeatedly. Using Wireshark I can see that for each single directional command myServer sends one xmpp packet as follows:Does anyone have a functional Harmony integration? I still cannot navigate any devices using the direction pad. If I press left/right/up/down it fires off that command repeatedly/infinitely until I press another direction, in which case it starts repeatedly firing that command instead.
I've tried deleting the myServer Harmony driver and redoing everything from scratch and the result is the same. I've looked at the commands bound to the direction buttons in myDesigner and it looks like they're tied to the standard navigation commands. Also, the Harmony remote itself works as expected as it always has, but I did take a look at the Interkey delay in the Harmony software just in case and they are at the standard default
I feel like I must be missing something, but for the life of me I have no idea what.
Code:<iq type='get'id='e68e3a0e-388e-488b-88a2-3636982ec393_5'> <oa xmlns='connect.logitech.com' mime='vnd.logitech.harmony/vnd.logitech.harmony.engine?holdAction'> action={"command"::"DirectionLeft","type"::"IRCommand","deviceId"::"24771581"}:status=press </oa> </iq>
I wonder if it needs to immediately send a 'release' command after the 'press' event? According to this it sounds to me like this might be the problem. I can't see what the official Harmony remote app on my phone is sending as the packets appear to be encrypted. Boo!
