I appreciate you taking a look. I just tested it and I'm almost afraid to tell you what happened, but here goes. Hopefully this will make sense.
I ran the Shield activity in the theater and it ran the macro correctly but then no buttons were doing anything at all. Then my wife called down from upstairs and told me the tv in the sunroom was going crazy. I went up to see and the button presses for the shield activity in the theater are controlling the shield in the sunroom + still doing the infinite button press thing. I tested further and running any activity in the theater turns on everything correctly in the theater but then controls only the Shield in the sunroom. For example, if I run the Apple TV/bluray/xbox activity in the theater it turns on the correct devices in the theater but then controls the Shield in the sunroom. Switching rooms on the remote to the sunroom it starts the activity correctly in the sunroom and seems to control those devices correctly, except for the Shield doing the infinite button thing.
To summarize:
Running any activity in the theater triggers the correct macro in the theater but then controls only the Shield in the sunroom. Any button press causes that button press event to happen repeatedly.
Running any activity in the sunroom triggers the correct macro in the sunroom and controls the devices in the sunroom, Buttons seems to work correctly with the exception of the Shield.
Should I try deleting the rooms/macros/hubs again and reinstall them, or is that just going to reintroduce this issue with the dash/underscore and put this back to square one?

Buttons backlighting is not supported today in software.
Make backups of the database and the project folder before changing things that are working so you can regress if something breaks. Put the backup project folder in a "backups" directory.
Making progress!!!

If nothing changes, then it will always work.Mine is working, at least intermittently. When running, it works well. I probably would like to tweak a couple of hard buttons.
Buttons not backlit.

I'd be happy with intermittent at this point.

Would you like for me to Teamviewer in and take a peek?
