Just got home and checked and the IP is now working again, and like you said, just as quick as the apple remote/IR commands that I had in place. Thanks!
AppleTV driver has been updated. We have now implemented a .Net to Python bridge and the driver now has a permanent connection to the AppleTV via the bridge. Commands are now just as good as using the apple remote. (At least in my office. YMMV)
The latest server update has the bridge and the latest AppleTV driver will use it. It should just work. If it does not I will have to remote into your server to investigate. It has worked for me on three systems co far.
Please note if you are running myServer on a Windows PC this will not work for you unless you have installed Python on your PC and you manually start the bridge. Same caveat holds true for any customer that has rolled their own hardware. Some user intervention will be required.
Just updated to the new driver and this is a DRAMATIC improvement. Seriously, it's night and day better and I can switch to full IP control. That's one more device off of IR completely so thank you for this!
