What was pushed was a step towards a AppleTV IR and IP driver.
We are working on the fast response IP driver now that Dave alluded to.
That portion will come out post testing.

AppleTV driver has been updated. We have now implemented a .Net to Python bridge and the driver now has a permanent connection to the AppleTV via the bridge. Commands are now just as good as using the apple remote. (At least in my office. YMMV)
The latest server update has the bridge and the latest AppleTV driver will use it. It should just work. If it does not I will have to remote into your server to investigate. It has worked for me on three systems co far.
Please note if you are running myServer on a Windows PC this will not work for you unless you have installed Python on your PC and you manually start the bridge. Same caveat holds true for any customer that has rolled their own hardware. Some user intervention will be required.

Updated the driver and now the buttons that were working that were programmed with IP are not working now for me. My IR commands are still working that I had in place, but nothing with IP. Worked before, they just had a slow response time- around 1.5-2 second delay.

Did you try to run the command in the new driver's Command Builder?
If that works, then check what command you are actually sending from your webpage / hard buttons using either the Event Log and / or myDesigner.
If the commands don't work from Command Builder, are you sure the AppleTV is connected to myServer?
What's in the log?

I just remoted into your server and found the issue. The driver is now talking to the AppleTV via the bridge now. I see the responses coming back along with the now playing info. So the communication is working. Let me know if you see the difference.

I briefly tried this last night and had the same issue though I didn't dig too deep.
When I revisit this when I get home tonight is there anything I need to do on my end to get the bridge working correctly?
