Pairing Remote to AppleTV?

Hi, with the help of David my AppleTV is now showing up in the designated room.

However, it's unclear how I pair the remote to ATV?  The instructions say open a terminal but do I do this on the server?  Is there a way I can issue that command via the MyServer dashboard?  

Also, I have tried issuing the command via a terminal on the server but the command wasn't recognized so I'm stuck, at the moment.

"Please make sure you are performing these operations from the same PC that myServer is running on. Also have a TV connected to the AppleTV that will be paired and have the AppleTV sitting on the top menu screen."

put the myserver controller on an HDMI monitor with a keyboard / mouse and open a Terminal Session (bottom left icon from the RaspberryOS desktop)

I can confirm it does work. But I will say the appleTV driver is extremely slow for me. It takes 2-3 seconds per click for it to register. If you get it running let me know if it's slow for you as well.

I assume you are talking about the process to register takes a few seconds (a one time process) and not the every click using the smartremote to control the AppleTV hardware (that should be near instant).

No I mean every click of the directional arrow or selecting something.  It's painfully slow, but I was waiting for others to try it out to see if it was just me or if everyone had the same issue.  I figured I've reported enough issues so far

that doesn't sound right...we use that driver is LOTS of commercial installs and have not had any negative response.  I don't have an AppleTV here to test.
