Glad you got it working! It's a big QOL improvement!
MY MAN! Coming through again to help me out! I knew it was on there cause I could see it under applications in the syringe menu and was driving myself nuts why I couldn’t get it to run.If you are on the blank dashboard swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open your app drawer.
Just ran back down stairs and swiped up and there it was!
Backlight instantly on and a game changer for sure!
Great work guys!

Personally, yes. The remote has completely replaced my harmony in my (still under construction) theater. I'm using native drivers + a few custom sources (no need for the harmony hub). I'm also using the MQTT functionality to send out to NodeRed when certain buttons are pressed and/or macros are invoked which then allows for connections to everything else that I use for home automation. Next up for me is trying to figure out how Nillaz did those cool animations between different activities / sources on the SmartRemote. I also may take-on getting everything set up to use the remote in the Family Room to replace the harmony there but need everything to work flawlessly and consistently before exposing it to the rest of the family.
Love the backlight and sleep functionality.. it has made the remote significantly more usable.

It's actually pretty straightforward. I need to head out for a few hours but I'll create a separate post for you detailing how I did this when I get home later tonight.Next up for me is trying to figure out how Nillaz did those cool animations between different activities / sources on the SmartRemote.

Ok, Bug was Swatted and the fix is in the next myServer build. So, download / install myServer, and for those that upgraded the apk this week, do a regular Uninstall of the smartremote app. If you haven't upgraded the apk this week, do a Forced Uninstall of the smartremote app within the AndroidTV driver like the documentation advises.
Bitzer - both your remotes are reflashed with the very latest apk and tested good.
We will charge both overnight and ship it first thing in the AM.
Thanx!
Now, back to Modular Case builds
