Working backlight ETA?

My mistake.  Templates are sorted to the bottom, and I missed it.Still showing 2025.11.24.52935

When I delete the old template and re-install using the current available template I still have no option for backlighting.   Just tried again this morning.

Please look again. The program I use for publishing was not processing the template properly. You'll see a 2026-07-30 version available now. If you have made customizations to your smartremote project you only have to copy the about.html file from the sample into your existing project.

Thanks Dave.  I saw that and tried.  I now have the option to set the backlighting, which I did.  Yay!!
BUT, I have no backlight on motion.  The backlight comes on when the remote fires up but subsequent motion of the remote does not turn it back on.   I uninstalled the Smartremote.apk and reinstalled (again) per the link David sent earlier.  Same result.

I played around with the remote quite a bit yesterday.  I still cannot get the backlight to come on with motion.  The only time it comes on is when it wakes up.  Not sure what is wrong.

Did you update the javascript using latest myDesigner update project?  and then clear the cache on the SmartRemote to use the new javascript.
