Remote backlighting not working?

I am having a similar issue, when pushing the power button the remote will not activate the screen but actually reboot the remote.

Sometimes, when that happens I see an error:  AndroidTV.SendCommand - Error in SndCommand - An error occurred while reading a response from ADB: closed

A long press will reboot. A very short press will wakeup if asleep.

Thank you,  any thoughts on why the SendCommand error was generated?

It's always a balancing act of what can be packaged, at what cost, within what timeline to target a certain customer group that needs that feature at a price.

The list on the Kickstarter is probably 90% good.  When the system is stable and the current customers are able to use what they have in hand, then we can look at the marketing tidbits.

That's fine, but I would really like to know what the deal is with the button lighting.
