Those commands are overridden by the Web pages Properties (like "Roku.html").
If there isn't a Web page command, then the global command for that button (and button Short / Long press) gets used.

where are you making those changes - on the Global Commands (click on the web folder's name and then Properties in myDesigner)?I tried two codes:
Macro|chair lamp on
and
Lighting|48~On
When I press the button, nothing is recorded on the server. Both commands work fine on other buttons.

Nothing is defined globally for these buttons. I'm defining them in a scene. I think I might have another problem. When I enter that scene, clientcmd|home stops working (the home button).

Do the buttons have state variables defined on them? If yes check to make sure they are clickable in on and off states.
Not seeing the commands in the server event log suggest they are not clickable.
In general you do not have to prefix a command with Macro| unless that command contains multiple commands. Your command "Macro|chair lamp on" can be just "chair lamp on".

No state variables. Actually I'm having a problem with that scene. It now refuses to load. I created a new one, and copied the buttons over and still have the same issue. I'm at a loss.

Team Viewer

The scene is atvir.html. Once it loaded I cannot exit it. Home has clientcmd|home as a long press. I also added clientcmd|home and back to F3.
I see the other button commands being sent to the server and executed....
