Function Keys

Is there a trick in using the Function Keys (F1...)?  I've put in a valid command and it doesn't register on the server.  It's the same code that's in a button so I know the code works.  I simply want the F2 command to turn on a light (short press) and off (long press).

What is the command you have assigned to F2?

I tried two codes:

Macro|chair lamp on

and

Lighting|48~On

When I press the button, nothing is recorded on the server. Both commands work fine on other buttons.

Hmm. Is the soft button that works in the same scene as the hard button you assigned the command to?

No, I simply want to control the Home Theater lights by these three buttons. The commands work on other hard buttons, just not these. No errors on the server, the command is not being sent.

Gotcha. I thought maybe you had assigned the commands to a specific scene instead of globally in Project Properites. If it works on some keys but not others within the same scene I'm totally at a loss.
