I am a beginner. I am using the default Harmony page on your remote that comes when you link Harmony.
I would like to assign 2 commands to the hard function buttons.
When watching TV:
Assign Previous Channel to F1.
Guide (from cable box) to F2
I tried following the posts but had no success.

Note in myDesigner, you can edit Global hard button commands and you can also edit web page specific commands that take precedence. Ensure in myDesigner that after you update a myDesigner button field that you click on a different field and then Save that page and then Save that project for your updates to take effect. Then, reopen that webpage to get your latest command into play. This can also need to shutdown the smartremote.apk and reload it. Click the Dot Dot Dot button on the smartremote hard buttons at the Home page to exit.

Is my assumption correct? If I assign a function in Project Properties to a button, that function will be available in every scene. If I assign a function within a scene, it overrides the Project default.

Quick Update - Adding the commands to the Project Hard Keys worked for F1 and F3. F2 still doesn't do anything. Just for giggles, I copied the F2 commands to F3 to see if they would work...they did. Nothing is assigned to F2 per scene so I don't understand what is blocking it.
