Working backlight ETA?

Yes I did.

I tried it a second time and when I ForceUninstall it reboots and goes back into SmartRemote...

Uninstall seems to have removed the icon... I then re-Installed but no keys backlight.


UPDATE: force install a few more times and it seems to have worked...  Backlight coming on now!  love it! It seems to be coming on only once when the remote wakes up, but its already immensely helpful!!

Before I attempt this I want to make sure there are no pictures to accompany the instructions. I have read the pages following the instructions and it looks like that people are making mistakes like not clicking certain boxes. It would be helpful to know where to post the reboot in step 7. Is it here on the forum?

Post/after reboot do an install command in the android tv driver on myserver.

I'm going over the instructions very carefully from post #2737  . Can someone please tell me which steps are taken on the server and which are done on the remote itself? It is probably obvious when doing the setup but it would help with my notes.

Steps that are performed on the smartremote: 10, 11, 12
