MediaServer Integrations was created by Nillaz

I'm running MyServer on a QNAP TS-664, using virtualization station.

Yes, it is not supported by Allonis.  But it wasn't too hard to set up, once I taught myself enough Linux to understand what was going on.

If you already have the hardware, it's worth the time to experiment.

Neat! Do you also run a media server (i.e. PLEX or EMBY) on your QNAP, and if so is it integrated into myServer?

I have JellyFin and Emby media servers running on Unraid Dockers. Then, I have the Jelly and Emby apps installed onto Roku. The SmartRemote I select Roku, then Jelly and can navigate the Jelly server's movie / music collection and the Smartremote hard buttons operate the transport controls.

Works nicely.

Can you clarify what machine is hosting your setup? I'm just starting to contemplate integrating EMBY, I'm not trying to be dense but the myServer documentation on this suggests that it needs to run locally and there's absolutely no way I can run my EMBY server on the Pi 4.

My Unraid server is an older used-to-be Windows PC with lots of hard drives (media storage mostly).
myServer is Pi4 standard Master Image
The Emby app running on "Roku" points to the Emby server running on the Unraid server.
Emby server can run on a Pi (like Liberlec)....but the Media (big ole hard drives) is on another computer.  The Emby server library just is mapped to the media folder paths.  But you don't want the Emby Server to have to do transcoding (CPU hog).

Gotcha. My EMBY server currently lives on a high end QNAP. I'll have to do some soul searching over how badly I want EMBY integrated into the SmartRemote.

You would leave the Emby server where it is.
You would then need to figure out the Player. Like Roku. Or Nvidia Shield.
Then, add the Emby client there. Then, connect the appropriate driver to your player within myServer.
Then launch that player's UI within Smartremote. Launch Emby player. Use Smartremote to control it.
