Hi, Based on forum responses, I would give the VideoStorm adapter a shot. Try one. Users report much snappier performance.

I appreciate the feedback but I think you can disregard this thread at this point. I held off making a decision on this for an additional week hoping there would be a server side solution but It's become clear that the path forward for me is to decommission myServer and migrate to a different platform altogether. I can't keep fighting with this. I wish you all the best of luck!

Thank you for the suggestion but I think I'm going to pass. Even if it works it's a bandaid that only solves for one device in my home. I would still need to purchase multiple additional units at the cost of hundreds of dollars. The money isn't necessarily the end of the world but I would rather take that money and put it towards a new system.Hi, Based on forum responses, I would give the VideoStorm adapter a shot. Try one. Since different devices process the commands at different speeds, if you provided a server variable that varied the speed at which commands were sent, we could adjust it on a device-by-device basis.
The result may be that the scrolling is slow, but at least it wouldn't overshoot.

It seems like the solution is to not send commands any faster than the device can process them. For Nvidia Shield: ADB uses asynchronous communication. And, with ADB being a very slow processing technology (on the Shield), myServer sends numerous requests to the Shield that the Shield gets around to processing in the order it received them...so, when you let up the button, the Shield still will process commands.

Sorry to hear you’re going. You’re somebody who has helped me and I have learnt a lot from you. The system you had was stunning and you should be very proud of that. Hope you find what you’re looking for

We are looking at the Shield to see if a workaround for how ADB works can be implemented. Hold tight! We don't want you to go away!!! you have been very helpful to all.
Not to mention, you won't find a better system
