Master Image Issue? (Crashing)

I've installed the master image on two totally separate hosts (no shared HW) and the behavior is the same...it works fine, and crashes a few hours later (Cannot Ping or access the Host).  I thought it was my HW...but now am leaning towards the image.  The current host HW was running 7/24 for the past year.  I installed the image, booted the system, and updated it via the myServer interface.

Did I miss a configuration step?

FYI - doing this for my Disaster Recovery plan so I can recreate the system quickly if it's required.  In a "Smart Home" the control systems have become super important to the operation of the home (meaning, if they crash, the family screams!!!)

Not aware of any issue like that with the Master Image.

Please clarify what you mean by updated.  If this is effectively a fresh install on new hardware, did you activate your license and download and configure all the drivers?  I assume so, but it's worth asking.

Or do you just mean updating the OS, and you are not getting to the MyServer part, because it's crashing?

One of the reasons I chose to run myServer in a VM on my QNAP is that I can make regular backups of the entire VM.  This simplifies disaster recovery.

You can also clone your existing usb in the Pi it's already in.  The clone software is part of the Master Image.
If that clone'd USB is put into a second PI, then it will need a fresh license or it will go Expired.

I simply grabbed the Master image off the Allonis Website and flashed a SSD with the image. The PI booted fine, and runs for 4-8hrs before it is dead...

Updated means using the myServer webpage to update the software.

No license was used, just the trial. It's good for 30 days.

I hadn't really contemplated this strategy, but the more I think about it the more I'm liking the idea of running this in a VM on my NAS. I've been contemplating buying/building another server as a backup but I think I might go down this path instead. Thanks!
