You should look into our new Modular case and put both HomeAssistant Pi and myServer Pi 4/5 in same nice rack or shelf mounted case.
myServer uses a trivial amount of cpu on a regular basis. Similar to HomeAssistant.

I may consider one of these once I get around to reconfiguring my rack to make additional space. I assume that Pi4 shelf systems can be removed from the DeskPi case to retrofit them into the modular case?

Also, are there any other photos of the modular case other than what is available in the online shop? I haven't seen a single photo of one of these deployed in a rack.

My rackmount is still on the floor next to my rack, waiting until I get rid of some Sonos zones to make some space.

I've got a Bambu Lab X1C and it's great. Bambu Lab printers are getting a reputation for being the most plug and play 3d printers at the moment. They still need you to have some problem solving skills and a modicum of mechanical aptitude but they're the closest 3d printing has got to an appliance so far. They start with a small one for about $170 and go up in price from there. I had a Printrbot ten years ago when home 3d printing was kicking off and you spent most of your time fiddling and calibrating. The printer was the hobby. Now they're reliable enough that it's an actual tool I use to make useful stuff.

x1c or p1s was on the top of my list not sure if the extra 400 or so is really worth it for the lidar and bigger screen.

Thanks
