Windows Update - Designer now will not work

FYI

I just applied the recent Microsoft Update (Windows 11, version 24H2) and myDesigner will not connect to the myServer.  My un-updated PC works fine and the configuration settings are identical.

I'm updating one of my other PC's to see if I have the same issue.

I'm not yet on V6 but I have fairly extensive experience on V5. Have you tried re-installing the Designer?

I don't think that will help.  After the update, you cannot map a drive to the myServer and if you had one mapped, it will not connect.  This is a Microsoft issue... I will try the reinstall because I'm dead in the water.
 

I have been on Windows 11, 24H2 for a few weeks. All components (Windows 11, myServer, & myDesigner) are current on updates. I just confirmed that myDesigner is connecting to myServer. The last time I had a problem with connectivity between myServer & myDesigner I believe an uninstall and reinstall of myDesigner resolved the issue. This was a while ago, so I don't remember if it happened at the time of my 24H2 upgrade.

Ah, you can't map to it. Re-install MyServer then. It sets up sharing when you install it. Hopefully it will allow you to reconnect. Had that happen to me in V5 anyway.

Uninstalled it, rebooted, Reinstalled it. No difference.

Again, the app worked on a PC (before I installed the update, minutes before) and stopped working on all three PC's after the update.

There are a lot of complaints about the update breaking applications in the Microsoft Forums... Unfortunately I don't have a fix yet.
