New setup, cannot create new projects but connected to myserver6

The myDesigner issue has been resolved.  The problem was that the designer was failing the test to see if it was talking to a V6 server and was assuming it was a V5 server on the other end.

Apples and Oranges as the V6 designer CANNOT be used to edit V5 projects just like the V5 designer CANNOT be used to edit V6 projects.

So, everyone needs to update myDesigner to the version I just released and you should be good to go. The Designer Updates button should be showing green. If not click on it anyway.

Well that explains the behaviour I was seeing that made it look like a v5 myDesigner. Great you've got it fixed.

Run the PrepSmartRemote command.
Just make sure you followed all of the step by step instructions.  Don't shortcut!!!!  This will be the LONG path.
 

I'm wondering if I found all the steps to follow. Things are sorta working, here's where I'm at:

• Got MyServer setup/activated.
• Went through and added all the drivers that exist so far
• I setup rooms
• Configured those drivers (notably for my initial setup, my Rokus and LG TV)
• I think I've got those devices correctly assigned to the right room.
• I setup the SmartRemote wifi, and connected to the server
  • Note that I initially screwed this up, but I went into the app settings in the Android settings and deleted the data and re-set it up.
• I've got myDesigner connected to my server, and renamed the smartremote template.
• I picked the right room on the SmartRemote and I see the correct devices* on the remote.

I think I'll start another thread with where I'm at though so as not to drag this off topic.
