IP Cameras - a struggle

two issues 1) had an old mediamtx.yml file. You must have downloaded before it was fixed. 2) Your setup was trying to look at the primary stream from the camera. primary stream is H265 encoded and we cannot process H265 yet. So we switched to the secondary stream which is H264 encoded.  That's the difference between the 401 in the url and the Streaming/channels/402 in the url

Great thanks - yes i see the preview works.

However, I think the GUI command builder is still not working to add new cameras etc.  I tried to add a new camera via the GUI and make some amends.

Eg I just tried to add stream 302 - but previewing both camera previews show stream 402... (?)

I see you directly editied the yaml file to sort my issue - I will have a go to see if I can also add other camera that way - but just FYI it may be that actions in the dashboard (add RTSP camera etc) are not properly amending the yaml file. I am happy to edit the yaml file via terminal myself, but I wanted you to know there may still be an issue with adding devices via the dashboard - I don't think the GUI is properly configuring the yaml file.

I followed the instructions and ir doesn't appear as though the server is being installed.  I had a similar issue when I tried installing the IPcamera server.  Not sure why its not installing.  

Did you in the myServer MediaMTX driver, click on Driver Command Testing, and then click on Install MediaMTX?

Changes ARE NOT written to the yaml file. The driver uses the MediaMTX api to dynamically update the yaml on the fly. Everything is done in the driver.

FFNeil I'll need to see what it is doing on your server. Will need TV id.
