SmartRemote hangs on circle screen

One of my two SmartRemotes was not on the network and had a blank screen. I did a long press on the right-side button to restart it. The remote reboots and displays the Allonis screen, the explosion screen, and then hangs displaying the circle screen for ever. A long press with the circle screen displaying repeats the above process. My other Smart Remote is functional, and I have made no recent configuration changes beyond installing myServer updates. Is there anything else I can try to restore this remote to a working state?

Sounds like the boot drive on the SmartRemote is corrupt. You can send it in for us to look at.

Do I need an RMA or process I need to follow to send it in?

I will send it in. I assume I send it with the circle screen active unless there is some way to shut it down.

Have you tried taking your remote down the street to out of range of your wifi? The lack of wifi signal may be enough to kick the smart remote out of whatever loop it is in.
