Hi Chris I'd bet a dollar that during your initial setup you changed the name on the remote itself from "remoteX" to "Chris". This value and the unique name in myServer are independent of each other.This is interesting David and I am hoping you will have the time to enlighten me and maybe some other folks. !WakeupMyRemote|{{clientname}}! does not wake up the remote. I also tried it without the exclamation points. It will wake up with WakeupMyRemote|Chris. The remote is named "smartremote," not Chris. Command builder seems to want the remote name, not the client name. And speaking of clientname I can't find that variable in MyServer. But if it's there it does not seem to have a value of Chris. I did see a variable "harmony_active_device_chris" with a value of 1,
I'm puzzled and would really like to be able to wrap my head around all this.
Thx, Chris

I replaced all my Harmony Elites with myServer and SmartRemotes, though I've basically replicated the Harmony activity-based paradigm in myServer and I do still use 2 Harmony Hubs with myServer because I've been too lazy to replace them with ip2ir's. I seriously doubt this has anything to do with what we are talking about here.Thanks David. What Nillaz posted doesn't work for me. I have no {{clientname}} variable and my smartremote is named smartremote, not Chris
WakeupMyRemote|Chris ==> works
WakeupMyRemote|{{clientname}} ==> doesn't work
WakeupMyRemote|{{any_variable_that_resolves_to_chris}} ==> works
I think it would be interesting to understand why.
Nillaz, can you chime in? It looks like you are not on the Harmony ecosystem, correct? I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Hey David thanks for the kind words! Hope all is well for you guys!I would literally use what Nillaz has posted as it's working for him. I haven't tested any of this but he has a pretty cool, working system.
