Trouble with HA gateway and activate-source macro

I'm trying to pull in a driver with the HA gateway driver.  That all seems to go fine but there isn't an activate-source macro that's created.  Should I be creating that myself?

Because I'm impatient I created an activate-source macro based off the appletv one that I've already got setup and working. Everything looks right and as far as I can tell all of the variable get setup correctly except for the active_<type>_{{clientname}} variable. It looks like selecting the room is what creates those variables but for some reason it's not creating the HA pulled in devices.

Since I'm just playing around I thought I'd try pulling in the same appletv device only going through the HA gateway. It defaulted to a "type" of "player" so when that didn't create the active_player_{{clientname}} I thought I'd change the type to "appletv" to see if that worked. Well that didn't work either because the active_appletv_{{clientname}} always gets set to the original appletv driver I have setup. So it almost looks like you can't have two of the same device in the same room. Maybe that's not supported but thought I'd point it out just in case it is supposed to work.

Not quite sure on very quick read on what you are doing, but you can have multiples of the same type of devices in same room as long as they have different device IDs.

Sorry, I probably confused things by mentioning having two devices in the same room, that was something else I noticed, you can ignore that for now.

The main issue is that I can't get the "active_<type>_{{clientname}} server variable to be created for devices I've pulled in through the HA gateway. Based on my testing those are set when the room is selected. But I'm not seeing that variable created for any of the devices that I've pulled in from the HA gateway driver.
