No, I'm using the Scheduled Task utility to run the server task to create the backups. I then use ResilioSync to sync it to the NAS.

For me, the biggest usability concern is when a command is not sent when you pick up the remote if it's not fully awake. It requires a press to wake up  the remote then a second press to get the function to work. 

Sometimes it does wake up when the remote is moved and works on the first push, so I never know what it's going to do.  If a button push wakes up the remote, it would be nice to actually act upon that push and not discard it.

I suspect it's a timing thing
Ensure your SmartRemote is on a static set IP (not DHCP). This speeds up network handshake.
It's a tradeoff of never go to sleep (and kill the battery) and fast pickup response.
It wakes up pretty darn fast as it is.

I also have that issue of the first button press not always registering. And I have always had my Allonis Smart Remote (and the server) on fixed IP addresses.
