rounding / padding

I would appreciate any input that Dave or David can provide on the reasons for / differences between the Denon driver and the Marantz driver. The Denon "DISCOVER" function discovers my Marantz AV10 and my Denon devices. The Marantz driver does not have a "DISCOVER" function. I currently have my AV10 configured with the Denon driver. It would be helpful to know if there are reasons I should change that.

I just updated the Marantz driver. It now will create the same volume and volume_db server variables like the other AVR drivers.

The volume variable will go 0 .. 100 while the volume_db variable will go -80 .. +20.

If the tracking is not correct please post the verbose event log for the Marantz showing the responses coming back from the Marantz. I not sure if it responds with 2 or 3 digit values. The protocol document is a bit ambiguous.

I think there is some glitchs with the new driver just updated and volume is showing as 445 volume_db is no where to be found

The reason I asked for log files is that I did not know if the Marantz reported volume values in 2 or 3 digits. 445 answers my question. I'm working on the change.

If the version of the driver I just released does not resolve the issue then email me your server's teamviewer ID so I can remote in and look at the log files.
