Thanks! I definitely prefer having text I can go through rather sit through things at someone else's speed.
For anyone who learns better by reading the getting started video is mostly a walkthrough of these instructions: allonis.com/support/documentation?view=category&id=413 and allonis.com/support/documentation?view=a...rver-configuration-2We just released the getting started video. Videos for Harmony and Home Assistant are next on the list.
It's great to have instructions in both formats - both are very useful.

I feel your pain, but I've seen some glimpses of hope too. I'm still trying to get the remote itself and everything else setup, but I did manage to get MyServer to recognize my Rokus and Home Assistant, and through the Command Testing feature I can start Roku apps directly that aren't on the buttons, and I can turn lights on and off through Home Assistant. And the remote is quite nice, so I'm still hopeful. Though yeah, the setup is not at all like the URC CCP that I've used before, so there's going to be a learning curve. So far the videos and posts on this board have me wondering if I made a mistake in ordering this remote. Nothing I have seen or read has me wanting to set it up. It seems like a cool product for the people that work at Allonis but nobody else seems to "get it". I truly hope I'm wrong.

Remember...this is a Kickstarter...I figure we are about 2 years ahead of all other remote control Kickstarters
We probably should have delayed shipping a week.
But trust me...we are very close.
You'll get it going. Soon.

yes, I prefer Text too. I predict that the YouTube will be good to get you a feel for things. And the text documentation will be the most detailed, the most comprehensive and the most up to date. And, you can print things off and check things off the list of ToDos.

David regarding printing off documentation I have encountered a problem where chat information is overlaying the text. The problem occurs when printing to a printer or when printing and saving to a PDF. I have attached a PDF that shows the problem. The chat windows were closed (not appearing on the screen) when I did the print and save to PDF. See the upper right corner of pages 2 through 4 in the attached file. I have encountered this problem with one other vendor who resolved the issue in their web authoring, but they didn't tell me what they did to resolve it. This is occurring on a Windows 11 Pro system that is fully updated.yes, I prefer Text too. I predict that the YouTube will be good to get you a feel for things. Yeah I think you may have made a rod for your own back putting such an ambitious fulfilment date (January) for the Kickstarter campaign. It might have been better to go for a month or two later so you were much further ahead. Oh well, as you say it's Kickstarter so (in theory) people knew they weren't just buying a finished product.Remember...this is a Kickstarter...I figure we are about 2 years ahead of all other remote control Kickstarters
