I have not changed the configuration of any button. When the remote finally acknowledges that a long-press has been detected, by lighting up the blue light, the command executes as expected.
The problem is with how long I have to hold the button before a long-press is detected. However it's configured, it should be the same every time. It's not. Sometimes it responds quickly. Sometimes, no matter how long I hold the button, it never indicates a long-press.
Only the Home button has a problem. A long-press of any other button, such as the Return button, always responds the correct way, every time.
I suspect this is a hardware problem.
