Make sure you have selected a user and room on the SmartRemote hardware UI.  That is what tells myServer that that client is in the "Study" and it's "Stanger" to personalize the icons that appear.  If no icons appear, then possibly those settings haven't been set yet.  This selection stays on myServer so you don't need to select the room everytime you pick up the remote.

Yeah, I've got the room selected on the remote, and I see the right "devices" on the index page, but I never setup a user (instructions said that was optional), so I've got whatever is default there.

Yes, optional but recommended to setup users.  It's part of the power of the system.  Might as well start there.  Plus you get to see your happy icon face on each page then

So I got the Roku working in my living room.  I think I'm going to have to customize that scene though since while it's pretty cool that it can pull the list of apps from the Roku, there's only a couple I use and I want to customize the way they're displayed on the remote.

Next up I think is the power on/off macros.  I was looking at the logs when trying to do the long press power off and notice it was trying to send IR to a Samsung TV.  I found that was set as the long press command in the example index.html scene for off.  So I deleted that and it doesn't try that anymore but it wasn't commanding anything then, despite having "poweroff.{{activeroom_{{clientname}}}}" defined for power longpress in the Project settings.

I copied that to the project settings in the index.html scene and now the power off works, and turns off the TV (and amazingly my Paradigm Soundbar, maybe that's CEC?)  But now I'm kind of stuck with power on.  Trying to trace my way through the macros looks like "activate-source.roku living room" gets called.  But it doesn't look like displayon.livingroom ever gets called.

Alright, so I'm almost there in my living room.  The last device I had to figure out there was my SageTV extender, on a whim I looked and found the IR codes for it in the database (well almost all of them).  Anyway I created a new scene (sagetv.html), updated the activation macro, setup the hard buttons in the SageTV scene.  I can select SageTV from the index scene and it change inputs and goes to the SageTV scene and buttons seem to work.  But that's where I ran into something interesting.  On the main project properties I have the Home button long press set to "ClientCmd|home", however if I leave home button long press command blank on the SageTV scene it's inoperable.  I had to add "ClientCmd|home" to the Home button long press in the SageTV scene in order to be able to get back Home/Index from the SageTV scene.  Does that sound right?  Volume seems to work as expected, ie blank entries in a scene fall back to what's setup in the project.

Long press on home should work universally to bring you back to the home page. What is the server logging in the event log when you do the long press?
