Labels being cut short

I have a few labels that are consistently cut off only on the smart remote. When I look at the labels or buttons in mydesigner or the sample launcher from my designer or the dashboard of myServer they look fine.
The lights on and lights off buttons have space all around the text.  The clock label shows am/pm and isn't cut off on the bottom. The timestamp of the movie shows without being cutoff on the bottom. 
I've tried moving labels, I've made sure there isn't some other overlay taking up space.. I'm at a loss as to what to do.

A couple unmolested scenes from the template displaying the same behavior of cutting off the labels off. 

Because of the large font size make sure the height of the label is sufficiently large to accommodate the text. This will happen when the label is too short.

Labels look fine below, they are ONLY cut short on the remote. As you can see in the kodi photos above the timestamp is cut off in different spots yet the label and font size are the exact same size. So why is one cut short and the other not ?
You can compare the lights on and lights off buttons from this post to the previous post and see the difference in label sizing inside the button. 
EDIT--  For users, Don't assume the templates are all sized correctly and don't assume that checking your work via the launch button in mydesigner will work. They do not match up.

Still having a minor issue with my clock label. Sometimes the am/pm gets dropped. Sometimes it doesn't.
