I would like to add some text input elements to some of the pages in my SmartRemote. For example, on my shieldtv page, I'd like to have a text input field so that when I select the search bar in my shield UI, I can type in the box on the touch screen and send that text string to the shield.
Has anybody had success setting something like this up before and would be willing to share some guidance with me?
When I try to add the Text Input, Multi Line Text Input, or Numerical Input form elements to my smartremote page, I'm not seeing them appear on my smartremote. Are these elements supported on smartremote?
