Denon hard buttons not working on SmartRemote after MyServer update. was created by cnicho01
I'm new to the SmartRemote/MyServer game, and with the help of David & Dave, I was up and going with my basic Home Theater Hardware needs, with plans to expand my knowledge on this subject. But after installing the latest update to MyServer (6.7.34119.28189) I found that my hard buttons on my SmartRemote for my Denon Receiver Denon AVR X3500H) are no longer working. When I first installed the Denon Driver using the "Discover" button in MyServer 6. it found it and after install the basic hard buttons just worked............. but not anymore......... Not sure what the best "next steps" to troubleshoot/resolve this issue. I welcome any and all help, but as a newbie, I may require some handholding, or simple instruction steps to understand and follow correctly. I defer to the experts and their experience for "help".

Basic diagnostics:
Ensure you are using the latest myServer, driver, and template.
Ensure the latest driver is the actual template that you are using
flush cache on the user interface device.
See if the Driver command example UI will control the device. If not, then there is a driver setup / connectivity problem.
If the test command does work, then select the room the device is associated to.
The device icon should then show up on the SmartRemote webpage.
After selecting that icon, invoke the command.
See what shows up in the myServer Event Viewer for hints on why it's not working.
Post the event of question on the forum with what you are trying to achieve.

Issue resolved. My router had assigned a different IP address than what was in the MyServer Denon Driver. I have since made the IP static in the Router which should resolve that issue moving forward.
Thanks David for your quick response, and listing the troubleshooting steps........ When I tried using the Driver Command Testing for the Denon Driver and I didn't get any response, I started looking at the Driver setup and compared the IP there with my router and found the issue.
