Since it has been very quiet in the forums I thought I'd upload a video of my remote so far.  But I can't seem to attach files.

Looks like I can attach them in a reply but not the original post ... strange.  Anyway enjoy!

The remote can control my AppleTV, Zidoo Z9X, JVC NZ7, Denon AVR, and my Lumagen.  It wasn't easy getting everything working since there are still a lot of roadblocks that I had to work around but this should demonstrate how powerful this setup can be.

The "devices" tab is a webpage component that is pointing at my HTWebRemote as a backup for now so that I can control everything that's not setup in the smart remote yet.  It's a really cool project, if you're interested in checking it out you can find it here  github.com/nicko88/HTWebRemote

The Alexa integration is though HomeAssistant where I setup a virtual switch between all of my sources and then some hackery in MyServer to update the switch state and also have it "click" a button on the remote so that all of the server variables get setup correctly.

Looking very good. And that's an amazing project ( github.com/nicko88/HTWebRemote ) that I've not come across before. Shows what can be done with open source and has a very good selection of IP control schemes including my Yamaha AV amp. Still only one way though I think at a brief look.

Very nice setup and nice progress so far.  I am familiar with the Htwebremote project and currently using it temporarily.  I would be interested in how you were able to incorporate the “Devices” into the smartRemote.

Nice job!

Yeah it's only one way but what's really nice is that it has an HTTP API so you can send any command to it from within the MyServer6 environment.  I've used to to fill in the gaps where MyServer6 is missing drivers.  Obviously it would be much nicer to get two way drivers created in MyServer6 but that might take a while.  And including it in the touchscreen section has come in really handy for those things that I haven't migrated over yet.
