OK some progress. I disconnected my desktop from the internet and gave it an IP in the 192.168.10 range. I then hooked up the IP Relay box directly to the desktop and gave it an IP of 192.168.10.25. After setting my desktop back to dynamic addressing I can now access and control the relay box on my regular home network by simply typing its IP 192.125.10.25.
But I can't get MyServer to control the box. I'm getting a log message to the effect I need to use an "absolute URL." So I tried http://192.168.10.25/30000 for the controller address. And some other variations. No luck. Not sure what format to use to satisfy MyServer. Thx

Does that sprinkler relay device need an IP port? If so, then the proper syntax would be: http://192.168.10.25:30000
You also might try using "https" to see if that would work.

Thanks. I tried that format. It doesn't work typing it into a web browser. And it doesn't work as an address in MyServer. Still stumped.

What relay are you trying to use? Where did you purchase it from? The driver supports specific hardware.

NC800. They're sold under a number of marketing names, including Sainsmart.

No idea if the driver supports that.
SainSmart is like saying "Chrysler". They manufacturer and distribute many products. The myServer driver was written for a specific product (that Allonis sells). Not all SainSmart products.
