I'm trying to control my Sony VPL-VW100 projector via rs-232 and am a bit lost as to how to enter the correct format of command for the Serial Database. I have attached a Sony document for the HEX codes. If someone could provide a clear instruction for how myserver 6 will properly action 'power on', for example, then all the other functions will be straightforward to add. I've tried many different formats, to no avail.
I am using a Global Cache GC-100, but I'm pretty certain that I have that correctly configured, so just help with the command syntax and document format to place in the Serial Database folder would be appreciated.

I would suggest you download the iTest utility from the Global Cache Website and start by making sure the commands work. Here is a link to generic Sony codes...
You can play around with the HEX codes in the iTest utility and figure out what the proper format needs to be. Once you have that you can start configuring the Allonis components.
At least for me, starting at the Allonis side resulted in way too many moving parts to debug when it wasn't working.
