Backup and Restore

I can't get the restore license function to work. Project for today was to move everything from a flash drive to a speedy USB. The license type on the flash card was "Permanent." I backed it up using command builder. Then restarted everything with a fresh image on the USB. License backup was moved to the backup folder under myserver in the fresh build. Using command builder I restored the license file. It appeared successful but license type on the new build still reads "Trial." Thoughts? Does it take overnight or something?

This thread has gone cold. I still can't restore my license so wanted to give a heads up I will be activating the software today. Something I was trying to avoid but seems the only way to get my license back.

Why do you need to "Restore License"?

Originally I started out with a flash card but decided to start over with a fresh USB stick for boot. It seemed to be the preferred method. But with the USB stick I'm on trial software.

Sounds like you are moving the license to a new media.
Allonis then needs to migrate the old license (invalidate it) and license the new one.
