Shelf Mount not responding

This morning I noticed that my SmartRemote  was unresponsive. I tried rebooting it but i couldn't get any further than pressing launch which didn't work. So I went to my dashboard but i can't access that either. The shelf mount has the red light on and the fan is spinning.
The Shelf Mount is connected via HDMI to a TV. The TV reports that it recognises a device had been connected but no signal is being received. I have tried multiple cables,  multiple HDMI ports  and 3 displays. i have tried to go in via Putty but it fails after timing out

Anything else I can try?

I have had something similar happen twice in the last week where my remotes are unresponsive when I take them off the dock for the first time each day. In my case the server is still running and I can restore them by rebooting the remotes themselves. I hope you can figure out a solution for your server!

 

Yeah I’m kind of stuck!!! Hopefully someone will be along and have a solution

I’m not having much (any) luck.
2 questions though
- in this link it talks about a door by the power button which you can change the function of the power button allonis.com/support/documentation?view=category&id=412
Got to be honest - I can’t find it. I realise it’s probably me but has anyone with a shelf mount got this
- there is a hole between the HDMI ports and the USB ports that looks like it could be a reset. Anyone know if it is?

I resisted all day yesterday but caved this morning and pulled the power cable. Nothing changed that I can tell and I am out of ideas

It's not a door. It's been months since I took the server apart but IIRC when you take the front panel off of the server there is a little slide switch that changes the power button behavior. I have no idea about the hole on the back of the server.
