Cannot discover Hue devices besides Bridge was created by kentaurosmon@gmail.com
Hello,

My Hue Bridge could be discovered and authorized just fine, but when I tried to discover for more Hue devices, I got this error from the logs:

Is there a known solution to this problem?

Post the contents of the verbose hue event log or mail me your TeamViewer ID and I'll remote in and look.

I remoted in to look. There is a character in the JSON data coming from the Hue Hub that is causing the driver to throw an error and abort the import.

I was in the process of downloading the server log when your controller went offline.  I'll check back in a while and when I see it back online I'll download the log and fix the issue.

I was able to download the log and look at the Hue's get config json response.

You have a device named "Lg C8 55" Strip". The quote character after the 55 is not properly being escaped in the Hub when I ask for the full config. The extra quote is causing the entire json packet to become invalid.

Use the Hue app to rename the "Lg C8 55" Strip" device to eliminate the quote. "Lg C8 55in Strip" perhaps? Then restart myServer and see if your devices get imported.

Let me know what happens.
