New SmartRemote sample...what should I do?

David, can you please expand on this? I have a project folder called mySmartRemote that has my custom webpages. When there is an update to the SmartRemote template, I download that into the smartremote-sample folder. From there I copy the JavaScript files into the mySmartRemote folder. But are you saying that hitting the "Update Project" button in myDesigner is going to update the JavaScript in the mySmartRemote folder automatically for me?

Thanks for the replies. I read through the docs. Wish there was an easy way to see the diff, or like what actually changed between the 2 projects instead of clicking through each HTML page and visually checking.

It sounds like JS can be updated without copying into the current project, so I will use the Update Project button.

Beyond that, I'll just leave the new sample project alone because I don't imagine there are any HTML updates I need to copy over.

You update the Javascript via myDesigner in your custom project.
The Software Updater distributes the latest "out of the box" templates for your direct use, or as the basis for your custom webpage. The Javascript should be same (assume both were updated on same day).
If you aren't using any of the webpagename.html in your custom user interface, then you can ignore the smartremote-sample folder.

If you find your custom webpages aren't doing what they used to do, possibly a driver was updated, etc in myServer that you can try the smartremote-sample webpage to see if that works. If so, then you will need to compare what is different and add the difference (like a new command syntax) to your custom webpages to work again.
