I have a fan and a dehumidifier in my theatre room to run while we're not in there.  I shut them off when we watch a movie.  I've been doing this manually so I bought a pair of Shelly Plugs from Amazon because there is a driver for Shelly devices on Myserver6.  They arrived today and I just connected them to my network.  I hit "Discover" in Myserver and within a few minutes, they were connected.  They ar enow Lighting devices #293 and 294.  I added commands in my startup and shutdown macros and now they automatically shut down when I startup the theatre and startup when I shut down the theatre.  I love automation!

I bought a bunch more Shelly devices to help automate a few other things around the house.  Specifically right now I want to read temperature so I bought the Add-on module so that I can read 5 temperature sensors.   I bought the sensors too and hooked it all up tonight.  Myserver6 found the Shelly relay and I am able to control that with the "Lighting|295~on" or ~off commands.  However I can't find how to read the temperature sensors.  Anyone have any idea?

Not quite answering my own question but I am making progress here. Tonight I found the online (cloud) app for the Shelly devices and that has an interface which is easier to navigate and has more content than the phone version. I was able to add the five temperature sensors to the Shelly Add-on device and I labeled them. I dunked each one in a glass of ice water to make sure I knew which one was which. So, now I have five temp sensors which respond and display their data on the Shelly app. Next I need to figure out how to read those temp sensors in Myserver6. The Shelly driver is still not discovering the temp sensors. It still has full control of the relay in the Shelly Plus 1 device but I can already do that in a couple other places so that's old hat.

I was not aware that Shelly has sensors in these plugs. I have several of them here that I used when writing the driver and did not see any of that dat. I'll have another look at them. Once I find it they will automatically show up as sensor devices in the shelly driver.
