Driver no longer connects to TV was created by stanger89
I'll preface this by saying I'm not exactly sure when this started, but I think it was after the last LG WebOS driver update... For a while now my LG WebOS driver has been unable to connect to my TV. Interestingly WOL still works great, but beyond that I can no longer control it, notably turn it off. Is see this in the log:
I've tried removing and reinstalling the driver, rescanning for the TV, but no luck, also tried re-paring the driver, but also no luck. Another data point, my Home Assistant connected to the TV fine and controls it without issue.
Thanks!
Code:
10/11/2025 20:19:24.19 · DEBUG · LGWebOS.Network - TV 192.168.0.242 try Re-connect
10/11/2025 20:19:24.19 · ERROR · LGWebOS.CreateClient - Error in CreateClient - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
10/11/2025 20:19:24.19 · ERROR · LGWebOS.GetStatus - Error in MoveNext - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I've tried removing and reinstalling the driver, rescanning for the TV, but no luck, also tried re-paring the driver, but also no luck. Another data point, my Home Assistant connected to the TV fine and controls it without issue.
Thanks!

Read the info on secure ports....if you are using 3001, try 3000 and visa versa.
