Denon fallen off the system

I've come back to this now after a few months away.  My Denon amp has seemingly fallen off the system.  All the controls that used to directly control the amp via IP control no longer work.  Two recent changes may have caused this (a) I've changed my router so that all my internal IP addresses have all changed and (b) I've recently updated the server (updated all the software via the dashboard).

The changed network settings caused mayhem in the dashboard (because it seems very reliant on static IPs).  I've updated all the IPs I can and all seems to be working... yet I am having real problems with the Denon IP controller (ie I can't even find it in the dashboard).

I cannot find the Denon settings anywhere in the dashboard.  It is not listed on the drivers page (where all my other devices are).  I have (re)installed the Denon AVR driver from the software page, but it still does not appear on the drivers page.

It was AV device 29 and was working flawlessly.  Now when pushing the volume button the log reports

ERROR · Server.doCommand - Warning: Could not find device 29 in family av

Any ideas?

You need to reconfigure the driver for the Denon's STATIC IP assigned address.
All IP addresses should be either Static assigned or DHCP reserved so the IP never changes.
Once you get the device back on the network, try to reassign it myServer device id 29 again. If another device is currently at 29, you can move that to "30" and then put the Denon back to 29 again.

The Denon amp is up on the network. The problem I have is more fundamental.

I can't even find where in the dashboard I can made changes to the driver. The Denon driver is simply not listed on the 'drivers' page. All the other drivers are there (android for the remote, Sonos, Heos, Harmony etc) but the Denon driver button is simply missing. As I say I have reinstalled the driver several times now via the 'software' section but it makes no difference. Not sure what's happened but I can't get into the driver settings at all.

Ensure (look at the version numbers) that you are completely on 6.8 versions.  And clear browser cache after myServer restarts.

This is probably to late for you, but for future referenece: Most routers have the capability to modify the LAN addresses in their configuration settings. When I get a new router, I will go in and set the LAN addresses to what my old router used. For example, if my old router used "192.168.0.xx" and the new router defaults to "192.168.1.xx", I just change the new router to use "192.168.0.xx" instead.

I also keep a list of my DHCP IP (and MAC) reservation assignments in a list separate from the router. That way when I get a new router, or have to restore the assignments on my existing router that unexpectedly needed a factory rest, I can easily restore the assignments.

Since I only use DHCP and DHCP reservations, I do not worry that my devices can connect to the new router. However, applications like Allonis and Homeseer use a lot of explicit IP addresses. Doing the above saves me having to hunt up those explicit addresses and having to change them.

I was on 6.7 versions... usually I use the 'New' 'is true' button in software to quickly show me what needed updating, but it hadn't flagged any of those drivers.

And... amazing!  Denon has reappeared....  I need to tinker to see if I can get it up and running again
