I just pushed an update to the Denon driver. It will now automatically query the AVR for all possible status and then create the appropriate server variables. I followed, what I believe to be, the most recent Denon protocol document. Hopefully it gets you the info you are looking for.
Hello Dave can you do this for the Marantz driver?

The Marantz driver is certainly different API than Denon. It's not trivial work to provide all possible status variables on the Marantz. So, it's on a list of nice to haves.

OK
I thought the underlying network protocols were the same for both and it would be just do what you did again.
This is not a big deal but does the
AV|<id>~Test~<any valid command>
work on the Marantz driver
